Queen Of Swords - Character Highlight Alexandra Nealy (aka Alex) Alex appears in the second half of Queen of Swords, and is presented as a woman whose past wounds still haunt her on some level. During a case while still an active FBI Profiler, she goes head to head with a serial killer and has to endure time alone with him. To say the least, she still holds on to the feat associated with what she went through. In Alex's mind, to completely forget about her past would undermine her survival. To overcome this trauma, Alex finds other, more tranquil ways of normalizing her life. Let's get back to some basics. Alex is the oldest child of Harold and Melina Nealy. Harold is of British origins while her mother Melina is of Greek origins. As a continuation of last week's post which listed many of the character's from my recently released novel Queen of Swords, I am going to go over some of the key places and events that bring Azulyria alive. Fantasy World-building There are so many key components to consider when creating a world from your imagination. Some of these elements could include climate, religion, government, currency, agriculture, industry, language, special events or holidays, and so on. depending on how important these details are to your story, you may only briefly touch on some of them, or go into great detail with others.
