  Kimonos   A Brief History     The donning of what we think of as the traditional kimono, began over a thousand years ago during the Heian Period. (784-1185 A.D.).    The Art of Illustration      Illustrating images has been a way of communication for thousands of years with the earliest examples discovered in Lascaux, France, where cave paintings were determined to be circa 15,000 B.C.
